Barito Timur menggunakan aplikasi Axence NetTools Pembimbing I Hotmian Sitohang, M.Kom. Pembimbing II Amaya Andri Damaini, S.Kom., M. Pemanfaatan jaringan komputer di SMP Negeri 1 Dusun Tengah Kab. Barito Timur sangat besar manfaatnya untuk mendukung peranan penting dalam melakukan proses belajar mengajar. SMP Negeri 1 Dusun Tengah Kab. Barito Timur telah memiliki kapasitas jaringan WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) yaitu sebuah jaringan yang dapat melakukan pertukaran data antar komputer dalam satu gedung. Namun kondisi jaringan yang ada pada SMP Negeri 1 Dusun Tengah Kab. Barito Timur masih kurang stabil sehingga hal ini yang mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan sebuah analisis pengukuran parameter kinerja jaringan Qos (Quality Of Serfice). Dalam melakukan analisis ini jenis penelitian yang digunakan peneliti yaitu menggunakan jenis penelitian Kuantitatif dan dengan memanfaatkan Software aplikasi Axence NetTools. Analisis kinerja jaringan pada SMP Negeri 1 Dusun Tengah Kab. Barito Timur menekan pada proses pengukuran parameter jaringan pada infrastruktur jaringan seperti delay, paket lost, jitter dan troughput.

The development of wireless technology is growing rapidly, one of which is the Wireless Local Access Network (WLAN) which is a wireless technology that refers to the TIPHON standard that can be used by users to get Internet access. This technology has the advantage of providing flexibility to the user, so that they can move from place to place while still getting Internet access, rather than using a cable to use it on the spot. Dinas Ketahanan Pangan Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah has several office buildings that are used by all employees to carry out office activities. To support these activities, the building is equipped and facilitated by an Internet network used by employees with 6 access points spread over certain points by measuring Wireless and Wired Quality of Service (QOS) at the Dinas Ketahanan Pangan Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah and analyzing The existing QOS level is based on the TIPHON standard with the parameters of Throughput, Packet Loss and Delay. This research was conducted using a quantitative research method starting from problem identification, literature study, design process (hardware and software requirements), determination of measurement parameters), followed by an empirical phase, namely research data collection (QOS measurement) at each existing access point. The results of the measurement show that the QOS parameter index in 6 access points averages 4 which shows a very good network quality for each access point.

SMP Negeri 1 Rungan is located on Pelajar Street No.10, Jakatan Raya Village, Rungan District, Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. Based on observations and interviews that have been carried out by the author from the use of computer networks that are still lacking, the condition of the existing networkat SMP Negeri 1 Rungan based on observations made by researchers testing the internet speed there, the results are 3Mbps, while the school's needs and demand for internet access are high. will be used for basic needs such as basic education data input (dapodik), education quality mapping (PMP), smart Indonesia cards (KIP), minimum service standards (SPM), individual reports (LI), prospective national exam participants, inventory cards ( KIB), and administration for school principals, teachers, and school operators. Researchers measure the Quality of Service (QoS) in SMP Negeri 1 Rungan analyzing the network using QoS with the TIPHON standard with parameters Throughput, Packet Loss and Delay. This research was conducted using the Research of Development (R&D) research method starting from problem identification, literature study, hardware and software requirements design process, determination of measurement parameters), followed by an empirical phase, namely research data retrieval (QoS measurement with Throughput parameters, Delay and Packet Loss) on each existing access point. The results of the measurements show that the QoS parameter index in the 2 access points averages 4 which shows a very good network quality for each point.
